These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legal agreement between you and Petzsea Technologies Pvt. Ltd. By creating an account or placing an order on Petzsea, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of terms
You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into contracts under Indian law. By using Petzsea, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
2. Your account
- Keep your login credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately of unauthorised access at security@petzsea.com.
3. Orders & payments
Listings on Petzsea are invitations to purchase. Your order is accepted when we send an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders for reasons including stock-outs, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. Refunds are processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.
4. Live animals & plants
Live-arrival is guaranteed for 24 hours from delivery. You must accept the parcel at first attempt, record an unboxing video, and report DOA (dead on arrival) with photo and video evidence within 2 hours.
Shipping of live fish, reptiles, and small pets is permitted only to serviceable pincodes. Temperature packs, breathable bags, and oxygen are included as per species requirements. Petzsea complies with the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
5. Services & bookings
Grooming, veterinary, training, and boarding are fulfilled by independent service providers. Petzsea verifies qualifications and maintains a rating system but is not directly liable for the service outcome. Cancellation & rescheduling windows vary by provider and are shown at checkout.
6. Vendor terms
Sellers on Petzsea must:
- Upload accurate product descriptions, prices, and inventory.
- Ship within the promised handling time.
- Honour Petzsea's 7-day return policy on eligible items.
- Comply with all applicable laws, including GST and FSSAI.
Commission, payouts, and dispute resolution for sellers are detailed in the Vendor Agreement shown at onboarding.
7. Petzsea Coins
Petzsea Coins are loyalty rewards, not a substitute for currency. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire 12 months after being earned. Coins may be revoked if earned through fraudulent activity (e.g. self-referral, fake orders).
8. Prohibited conduct
- No harassment, hate speech, or illegal activity.
- No scraping, reverse engineering, or excessive automated requests.
- No counterfeit goods, endangered species, or prescription drugs without valid RX.
9. Intellectual property
All trademarks, logos, and content on Petzsea are owned by Petzsea or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petzsea's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the transaction giving rise to the claim, or ₹10,000, whichever is lower.
11. Disputes & governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration seated in Bengaluru, Karnataka, under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
